    I was invited by the US State Department and the US Embassy in Athens to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program.
    The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is organised by the US Department of State and sponsors current or emerging leaders to visit the USA, gain knowledge in their respective fields and build stronger ties with the USA. The participants of IVLP include more than 335 current or former Chiefs of State or Heads of Government.
    There is no application for IVLP. Participants are nominated and selected annually by the staff at U.S. Embassies around the world.
